View information related to releases in 2025.
For Polysmith® integrations, the Somnoware Device Interface (SDI) now runs on individual technician and scorer workstations. This enables uploads after scoring, shows upload status, supports technotes and gives physicians earlier access to reports.
For more information, see Polysmith integration.
Technicians can now manually score studies for cloud-integrated devices in Somnoware. When administrators enable this feature for a facility, studies appear as Ready to Score instead of automatically moving to Scoring Complete. Technicians can review, edit and manually mark studies as complete and decide which studies they send for physician review.
When users check out the Nox T3® device with the Recording type option selected, Somnoware now accepts a 6-digit number in the Oximeter Pin field.
For more information, see Nox integration.
Group scheduling is now supported for cloud-based HST integrations, including NightOwl™, EnsoSleep® and SleepImage®.
For more information, see Schedule HST group appointments.
Somnoware is now compatible with WatchPAT® Interface version 5.4.84.4.

Fixed issues
Fixed an issue where the patient's date of birth (DOB) was off by one day in the DME module compared to their actual DOB.
Fixed an issue where auto-generated DME order notes from the DME module were missing descriptions and the application closed when users clicked the Expand icon.
Fixed an issue where AST Scheduler displayed the wrong MRN in the Timeline window.
Fixed a PDF issue where signed home oxygen DME orders were missing the Notes to Service Provider field.
Fixed an issue where Somnoware did not capture the sleep software name and version when certain ambulatory recording (MPR) studies were uploaded. This caused an error when physicians tried to view the study.
From the Patients > Scheduled list, you can now choose to display the Technician column to see the technician assigned to a patient's sleep study. Learn how to customize the display and add this new column.

Not all features are available for all customers.
Fixed issues:
Resolved an issue where physicians encountered a "Diagnosis Code Not Available" error when generating an interpretation report.
Removed the unnecessary Associated Studies popup that displayed when users uploaded single-night studies from the SDI Scorer.
Fixed an issue where Cadwell® study reports failed to generate after users made cloud-based edits. Reports now generate successfully after edits.
Somnoware can now send personalized text message appointment reminders to patients. To enable and customize these reminders, contact the Resmed support team.
Added a new EPAP Max field in the Device settings section of the Order DME form so you can set the highest allowed expiratory positive airway pressure (EPAP) for Auto-Adjusting Airway Support Ventilation (Auto-ASV) therapy.
When viewing My Sleep Studies from Somnoware Device Interface (SDI), you can now view tech notes related to a sleep study.
During cloud scoring, you are now prompted with tooltips to manually close Easy® III before generating ApneaTrak™ reports to prevent forced app termination or multiple concurrent report generations.
When selecting permissions for new custom roles, permissions have now been categorized to make them easier to find and some permissions that are obsolete were removed.

Not all features are available for all customers.
Users can now have the Resmed implementation or support team configure custom user roles for their Somnoware environment.
When physicians create interpretation reports, periodic leg movement (PLM) recommendations now appear for all study types except Multiple Sleep Latency Tests (MSLT) and Maintenance of Wakefulness Tests (MWT).

To ensure accurate and respectful patient communication, the system now:
stops sending SMS messages if patients reply "OPTOUT". This setting is associated with the patient's phone number across regions and facilities.
stops sending SMS messages to phone numbers that fail delivery three times.
validates phone numbers when a patient is created or updated.
adds timeline notes if SMS messages are not sent due to invalid or unsubscribed numbers.
You can now set default night settings for NightOwl™ home sleep tests.
In Scheduler, we removed the extra space from the bottom of the waitlist.
Somnoware now supports the latest version of Noxturnal™ 7.1.2.

Physicians can now select the primary night when finalizing a cloud-based home sleep test (HST) study.
On the Compliance tab, users can select the Unmatch menu option to unlink a Somnoware patient from an external DME source.
Somnoware automatically re-adds in-lab sleep test patients marked as No show to the AST waitlist with high priority status.

In Reports > Invoice, when users view a study invoice or video invoice, a message prompts them to click Generate report to display invoice data.
When adding a new patient, users can now type a date when they tab into the date field.
In the patient profile timeline and on the screen, fax status updates in real time to track progress.
Updates to questionnaires:
Users can manually assign any questionnaire to a patient.
Questionnaires are listed alphabetically, with organization-level questionnaires first, followed by facility-level ones.
In the Assign questionnaire window, the Select questionnaire field now auto-completes as users type, making it easier to find questionnaires.
In Physician Manager, you can select a sub-template for home sleep tests (HST), such as NightOwl™ or SleepImage®.
When you add a progress note, you can set a custom date range within the Appointment list.
Users with single sign-on (SSO) accounts can download a metadata file that contains their SSO configuration information.
In Scheduler > HST, a gray insurance icon (

From the Preferences > Report Builder > Impressions section, physicians can use a new Refresh option in the More menu (...) to view and configure impression statements for OSA - Alternate AHI in interpretation reports. Previously, physicians had to use the Reset to default option to view the OSA - Alternate AHI section, which cleared their current configurations.
