Set CSA (AASM Standards) criteria

Set up the CSA (AASM Standards) criteria for adult patients and specify how the related impression and recommendation display in reports. For existing physicians, see Enable CSA (AASM Standards) for existing physicians.

  1. In the Configuration module ( SW_Screenshot_Configuration.jpg ), click Physicians.

  2. From the Actions column next to the physician whose parameters you want to configure, click the Preferences icon ( SW_Screenshot_Preferences.jpg ).

  3. From the Parameters tab, scroll to CSA (AASM Standards).

  4. Set the threshold for central apneas or central hypopneas per hour of sleep.

  5. Set the percentage threshold for central apneas and central hypopneas as a percentage of the total number of apneas and hypopneas.

  6. Ensure Show in report is enabled to include the criteria in the report.

Configure the CSA (AASM Standards) impressions

Configure the report impressions for CSA (AASM Standards). Review or update the impression for patients who meet or do not meet both configured conditions.

  1. From Configuration > Physicians > Preferences, open the Report Builder tab.

  2. Click Impressions and scroll to CSA (AASM Standards).

  3. In the Not Significant field, review or update the impression for patients who do not meet both conditions.

  4. In the If Significant field, review or update the impression for patients who meet both conditions.

  5. Enable Show in report to include the impression in the report.

Configure the CSA (AASM Standards) recommendation

Configure the recommendation for patients who meet both CSA (AASM Standards) conditions. Review or update the recommendation text.

  1. From Configuration > Physicians > Preferences, open the Report Builder tab.

  2. Click Recommendations and scroll to CSA (AASM Standards).

  3. Review or update the recommendation text.

  4. Select the If CSA is diagnosed based on AASM standards check box to apply the recommendation when both CSA (AASM Standards) parameters are met.
